Acacia School Appoints Student Leaders
Congratulations to our 2021 prefects (student leaders). Left to right they are; Lyla Maynard, Chileleko Mukuni, Thomas Hemmingway and Layla McNamara
Leadership is about the art of motivating, influencing and directing people so that they work together to achieve the goals of a team or broader organisation. It’s important for students to experience leadership opportunities during their schooling, to learn the art of building relationships within teams, defining identities and achieving tasks effectively. It also provides an opportunity to learn to identify and display effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The children are encouraged to come to school dressed like their favourite book character or author and should come with a K20 or a book to donate to the school. An old book is acceptable. The money raised will go towards purchasing books for the Library.

MID-TERM BREAK
Acacia School will be on mid-term break from Monday 8th to Friday 12th March 2021. Depending on individual children’s learning needs, the teachers will prepare work for children to do during the break.
