Rock of Ages raises over ZMW 80,000


Friends of Acacia's fantastic Rock of Ages Gala last Saturday raised over ZMW 80,000 with the Solon Foundation's matching gift. This means we can now start work on the next phase of the School Hall. See video highlights from the show on our Facebook page.

A colourful Livingstone Independent Schools Organisation (LISO) Sports Day ended off the week yesterday, giving all our Grade 4 to 7 children the experience of competing in an inter-schools sporting event and good practice for the rest of the term's fixtures.

HALF TERM - 17th to 25th June
School closes at 1300 on Friday 16th June and reopens on Monday 26th June.

Sat 17th June  - U9 TAG RUGBY FESTIVAL
@ Bharat's Sports Complex, Livingstone - 0900 to 1130

Sat 24th and Sun 25th June - MINI AFRICA CUP SOCCER
@ Bharat's Sports Complex, Livingstone 0700 - 1700
 

U9 Tag Rugby Festival - Sat 17th June @ Bharat's Sports Complex, 0900 - 1130
 

A mixed girls and boys under 9 team will be competing in this festival run by the Tag Rugby Trust. A letter will be sent out to those players involved.

There will be another festival for under 11s in July.

Mini Africa Cup Soccer - Sat 24th and Sun 25th June @ Bharats Sports Complex -  0700 to 1700
 

Sport in Action and our German volunteers have organised a soccer festival for Livingstone Schools.

We will be taking one boys' U14 team. A letter will be sent out to those players involved.

Inviting parents to get involved in development of our Early Learning Centre


We have turned one of the walls in the Playgroup classroom into an interactive planning wall. This is a shared space for us to plan and track progress as we develop the Early Learning Centre (ELC). Parents are warmly invited to come and have a look, add their ideas, "like" ideas and help with our resource wishlist.

Become a Parent Governor


Want to help Acacia grow? We are looking for two Parent Governors to join the Board of Governors of Acacia International School.
 

Parent Governors are welcomed as valued members of the team and play a vital role in representing the views of parents and the local community on the Board.

Grade 1 Trip to Finta Milk Factory


The Grade 1 class will be visiting the Finta Milk Factory on the morning of Wednesday 14th June. Children should come to school as normal. Please contact Mrs Fernando if you can help with transport.

Week 6 Assembly

Grade 6&7 will be leading the Week 6 assembly on Friday 19th May. Parents are warmly invited to attend at 1230.
